Recovering Bookings made Logged Out

TrainSplit provides you with the option to make bookings without requiring use of an account on our website (as a guest). However, if you purchase tickets on the website and go to use them on your phone, your tickets won't show up in the app as they won't be linked to an account. Use the instructions below (matching the phone platform you use, or alternatively the website) to link any bookings previously made with your email address to an account in order to access them via our app.

Web

Please follow the process below on our website in order to transfer all bookings under your email address into the current account:

  1. Sign in or create an account on the website with the email you have previously used to make bookings.
  2. On the Account page, click on the "Recover your bookings" link at the top of the screen.

  1. Check the email address shows matches and click on "Send verification email".

  1. Head over to your email account and click on the verify link we sent to your email address.
  2. Head back to the app, and click on "I've verified my email".

  1. The website should show a button to recover your bookings  - click on "Recover bookings" and all previous bookings will be added to your account.

Android

Please follow the process below in your Android app in order to transfer all bookings under your email address into the current account (that you have signed into on the app):

  1. Sign in or create an account in the app with the email you have previously used to make bookings.
  2. Head to "My Journeys" and click on the "Something missing?" button at the top of the screen.

  1. Check the email matches and click on "Begin".

  1. Click on "Send Verification Email".

  2. Head back to the app, and press the "I've verified my email button" to link your previous bookings to your account. You should see the message below - click on "Done" and your bookings should appear under "My Journeys".

iOS

Please follow the process below in your iOS app in order to transfer all bookings under your email address into the currently authenticated account:

  1. Sign in or create an account in the app with the email you have previously used to make bookings with.
  2. Head to "My Journeys" and click on the "Something missing?" button at the top of the screen.
